LoJo Vault Assault is a unique pole vault training and development organization envisioned by one of the USA and world's premier pole vaulters Lawrence "LoJo" Johnson.

LoJo Vault Assault provides insight to the training and mentality that led LoJo through his career performances including 2x HS National Champion, 7x SEC Champion, 4x NCAA Champion, 7x US Champion, World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist.

LoJo’s Team Vault Assault is a track and field club based in the greater Philadelphia area and led by one of the world's premier pole vaulters and 2x Olympian, Lawrence "LoJo" Johnson.


Since Team Vault Assault’s inauguration in 2009, Team VA has consistently coached, mentored, and supported athletes to improved technique, consistent and higher performances.  Team VA Club encourages life-long physical well-being through running and athletic development. Team VA is reorganized as a 501(c)3 organization. Team VA as a registered club with USATF and AAU.

The Team VA mission is to positively influence and support athletic development and performance in youth, emerging elite, and world class athletes, specializing in track and field with unique expertise in the pole vault; to improve pole vault, track and field performance and consistency; to improve pole vault safety and awareness; and to promote the discipline of pole vault and the sport of track and field. 

Serving athletes of all ages, levels, and abilities on a first come, first serve basis. Team Vault Assault’s team/club differs from other clubs and teams.

In the summer of 2015, Team Vault Assault expanded to include Sprints (60m thru 800m), Jumps (PV, LJ, HJ), Hurdles (80m thru 400m) and Throws to the ranks of the Vault Assault Pole Vault squad.

Excel Physical Therapy is an outpatient practice which has grown to 32 clinic locations in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. Greater Philadelphia Track Club was established in 2003 and reorganized in 2008 as a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the promotion of health and fitness for adults through the sports of track and field, cross country, road and trail racing.  

Centered in the Philadelphia region, the club now has over 150 members in the Mid-Atlantic region that includes PA, NJ, DE and MD but also has members from several states outside the region.

A member club of USA Track & Field and the Road Runners Club of America, they compete in USATF Championships in Track and Field as well as Long Distance Running events. Such events include the Penn Relays, Millrose Games, Broad Street Run and the Philadelphia Marathon.
